Covid-19 service update
The global outbreak of COVID-19 is an unprecedented test for businesses and individuals alike. During these uncertain times, the safety and wellbeing of our employees remains our number one priority. We are providing the best possible support and assistance to help our teams manage the situation and continue to work safely and responsibly whilst delivering the vital service which London and the rest of the country needs.
We have carried out Covid-19 risk assessments at each of our sites, which have informed our decisions and control measures. We are confident that our business is Covid-19 Secure. We have complied with the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19 and have considered sector-specific guidance. You can find our Covid-19 Secure Notice here.
All of our sites are operating, including our energy recovery facility in Belvedere, our four Waste Transfer Stations, the Materials Recycling Facility in Wandsworth, our ship repair yard in Gravesend, and the Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRCs) at Western Riverside (Wandsworth), Cringle Dock and Northumberland Wharf (Tower Hamlets).
